Carb swap
I decided today to swap over to carb to save some money.
I am not to familiar with what needs to be done. i know the fuel pressure is different, so i imagine i need a regulator to turn it down some.
other then that, what are some other things i am going to need.
Not to mention i don't know much about the intakes, what is a good intake for the 331 stroker, cam not picked yet. Looking to make about 400hp

I did it easily for under 500....and even less if you can source good used parts, Intake cost me 75.00, duraspark ignition and dizzy 125.00 and new carb cost me 245.00.....and fuel line and pump were under 50.00

Stick, and why is it going to cost me about 1000.
I need a Distributor, MSD and intake.
Can just use a fuel reg to get it down to the pressure needed, not the best way but doable.
Its cheaper then spending 300 on new injectors, 300 on new MAF, new intake, 600 for a tune, not to mention whatever else comes along.
But i guess if i did get all knew top of the line stuff a 1000 would be about right.
What kind of intake is good, i don't know much about carb intakes. What is a carb intake that would be on par with lets say the Trick Flow track heat.

on my 92, I'm using a mech pump on the timing cover, but the donar car was a 85 for this 4 cyl proj so I went with what was there, for an efi ride to carb conversion, elec pump is the way to go, I went with a holley blue on my 85
