i bought my mustang with 4.10 gears in it already.. i was wondering if it is normal for my car to shake/sputter hard if im going under 60 in 5th gear.. and 4th gear if im going under 40? or could it just be my motor shaking since i do need to put in new motor mounts?

it is not normal at all.....

what are your rpms doing when it shakes??? i doubt the mounts are bad...but if they are new ones probably won't help unless they are completely shot

get the energy suspension ones... the poly ones, and do the trans mount too... i think you get a good deal if you buy the combo

you need to see if it is a engine performance prob or drivetrain issue

When you say "shake" Sounds Like a drivetrain issue, possibly bad u joint.When you say "sputter" I think engine. Good Luck

shake doesn't sounds good at all.. Better if you check it with the professional car handler..

the sputter could be a fuel problem. cloged injectors, something clogging up the lines. water in the gas. the shake could be your driveshaft of wheels need to be balanced. check your lugnuts too. they could be loose causing the shake
