Default Correct size belt?

I'm planning on deleting the smog on my '93GT, by taking the smog pump entirely out of the equation (i.e. no delete pulley etc). What is the correct sized belt to do so? I like to use Gatorback belts, but I will take any part number you guys can give me an cross reference it.

Has anyone ever encountered any problems deleting the smog this way?

THANKS!

thank you. as a follow up, is that supposed to be the "effective length" or the "outside length"??? I don't know about measuring belts...

the stock belt is a 4060872 6PK2215..

^ I don't know about the other diagrams but I know that their last one is wrong. 73" is waay too big. I run a 70-7/8" and that's close.

op, Why don't you just run some string around the pulleys and measure it that way?

electrical wire is what i use instead of string. string can stretch and throw off your measurement

thanks for the advice, i never though of that little trick. I just don't have all the pulleys on right now, the motor is still out of the car, and i am trying to get absolutely everything on hand and eliminate trips to the store during assembly.

Do you still have the a/c or do you have a a/c delete? If you have an a/c delte kit that moves up the power steering you will need a 74.5 size belt. You can get the belt off a 2001 daewoo Laganza. It has to be a 6 rib belt so make sure. This is the setup I have on my 5.0 vert when I bypassed the smog pump. No issues what so ever.
