Why are you swapping everything to the coupe? What isn't lining up?

just wanted to have more fun the 2002 is down got a lil behind on tags and car ended up getting hit on the door car went 11.6 on that heavy car so i wanted to drop in everything in the light coupe. its a 2.3 now. when i put the spindle on and everything the hub goes in toward the motor it looks like the thing is face toward motor instead of straight. i been reading up a lil and some say put a spacer but i dont no.

On the spindle the only difference should be a shorter ball joint stud and the steering arm is lower which requires a bumpsteer kit. It should work fine though.

I like your idea
Probably won't see what as much gain as you think though. That is a lot of work.

You just need two hardened 5/8 washers per side to take up the extra space.
Some people also suggest hardened ball joints with this swap. There are lots of Mustang parts suppliers out there. AM, LRS, CJ Pony ect.

I used this as a reference when doing mine:
http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec...t_install.html
It was a 51/48 washer.
Will a sn95 ball joint fit in the a arm? If so, do that.

All you are trying to do is add height.
