5 lug swap from a 02 can it be done

Yes the SN ball joint works. Just gotta get the old one out and press in a new one. If you are having trouble with just bolting in a spindle good luck with everything else.........that wiring is going to really kick your butt.
As for the five lug swap everything bolts in just fine. If you are wanting to bolt in the whole rear end you will also need to swap the master cylinder, proportioning valve and what not. You need to do alot of reading up on the process and do so over and over again so you know what is going on.

+1 on the MC and prop valve.
What you are doing has been done before quite a few times, just keep researching and you will find what you are looking for.
I havent done the swap yet but i have been collecting parts (as i do not have an 02 gt sitting in my driveway),
Keep in mind, you will probably need new headers to put that motor in your fox, and if the spindles are giving you trouble and you can handle the down time, you could swap the whole k-member, motor and tranny as a whole. I believe it will bolt right in and you would only need to hook up the struts, line up the springs and of course the wiring, which is why i'll probably never do this swap.

The washers work fine. I'm still using fox ball joints with the hardened washers. In fact, Ford Racing gives you washers in the 2300K kit.
When I swap my K-member and do coilovers this summer I'm going to sn-95 ball joints, though.

Oh, ...OP.... the ford 5 lug conversion kit that I'm using has the exact same calipers as sn-95 cobras and new edge cobras/mach-1 cars.
Twin piston PBR's with 13 inch front rotors and single piston rear calipers with 11.65 inch rotors. Don't worry... just make sure you do the conversion the RIGHT way. Everything should be researched. The brake line connections are going to be a hassle probably.
