Default cat back question?

i've got an o/r x pipe with a stock set up and am in the market for a cat back system. I have always been told that xpipes respond better to straight through mufflers rather than chambered mufflers. is this true? my car is pretty loud already with the o/r x and i'd like to go with something on the mild side, any suggestions? i've been told possibly magnaflow..thanx</P>

I like the sound of flowmasters and MAC but since their chambered that's not what you want. If you want something mild and straight through I'd suggest Bassani. You can take the inserts out of the tailpipes if you want it loud or leave them in and keep it quiet it also sounds nice, theres a 86GT that runs around here that has Full length headers, x-pipe, and catback all bassani and it sounds real nice.

flowmastersfor sound and sweetness, magnaflows for muscle and manliness (ie more power with mags, better sound with flowmaster).
