I've got flow's on my 95. They sound great with my bbk h-pipe and headers.

And you know your ride can't be pimped until X to the Z Xhibit makes it official.

if you want a sound eveyone has and sounds pretty loud get the Flowmaster American Thunder 2 chambers ..... if you want the loudest mustang in your town go with an Off road H pipe and SLP loudmouth cat back

I have shorty headers, H-pipe and flow with like 3 1/2" 24" tips, and it sounds great, get compliments all the time.

I personnally wouldnt use anything but flowmaster. I am just in love with the sound. It will offer a few horsies over stock due to less flow restriction but as far as difference of different aftermarket systems its all about the sound and what you want to hear.

flowmaster, i think, is the best sounding aftermarket mufflers for mustang's. gotta love that signature exhaust note. go with an h-pipe and flowmaster cat-back.

I'm sorry guys..but I just hate flowmasters...I had the 40 series when I first bought my Mustang..I hated them..went to the American Thunder cat-back..just as bad..decent sound..but not my taste..went to SLP..have never heard anything better..my buddy has the same exhaust set up as me except with the 40's as his catback instead of the SLP like me..and we have had people judge between the two..revving, idle (done without my cam) and take offs..and every single time..people tell me not only is mine louder, but that it just has a better overall sound to it..

If you plan on running an offroad mid-pipe, it'll sound very tinny.
If catted, wont be AS bad.
But still noticeable.
They don't sound that bad though when idle or slight rev.

And as for SLP LM1's, friend has em on his 98(Casper98GT)
He now wants them off, he says it's too undriveably loud.
And sounds too much like an F-Body.

And if you're looking for performance, go with a straight through muffler.

Not just being a Magnapack Fan-boy, but dynomax also makes a straight through muffler.
As does borla and some other companies.
