I bought a C&L 76mm mass air meter out of a 95 mustang. Will it plug right in and work on my 89 stang? It is already calibrated for my size injectors, so thats not an issue.

just unbolt the sensor off the top and bolt your sensor on cuz the 95up electronics are diff. then the 89-93.and it should be ok

Does the sensor have anything to do with the calibration? Because the new meter is calibrated for 24lb injectors, and my stock meter is for 19lb. Swapping the sensor souldnt affect that should it?

No the sensor will not change any thing on the C&L they change the small tube in the meter for the injectors calibrations.now the Pro-M meters change the electronics for the injectors as the the Granatell meters are also calibrated with the electronics cuz they were made by Pro-M

exactly what uedlose said, the c & l meter uses the sampling tube to calibrate for the inj. size, the stock electronics work. just swap the electrical part.
