Default Performance Chips

Can anyone suggest a good performance chip? I have a 1989 GT w/ the following mods: bbk shorty headers, flowmater 40, K&N filter w/ assembly, msd coil. I see brands like Rush, Pro Max, The Juice Box, and Redline cheap on ebay for under $30. Then there are some expensive ones for $250+. Any suggestions from people who are using them would be greatly appreciated, I would like to get another 10-20 HP.

Do not buy any of the "performance" chips on ebay they are a waste of money and do not give any performance gains. If you want a gain that some of the "real", expensive chips offer, advance your timing, that's about all that they do. If you are looking for some real gains, get some 1.7 rocker arms and some underdrives, that'll boost you about 20 horses maybe more.

Thanks for the advice. Cool front end on your car by the way. Have you considered getting a bra before a repaint.

Lol, No but if you look at it from a distance you can't even see the cracks and stuff. Idk if I could get a bra that would cover all of those cracks and paint chips up because it's got a body kit, I'm not sure if I could find one that fits.

How much would it cost for 1.7 rockers and underdrive pulleys? Also, is there any disadvantage to these mods?

Your will see better gains with a 65mm tb and a 76mm MAF and get a O/R H or X pipe to finish your exhaust
