Default Header vs. spark plug fitment...

I have recently installed some iron eagle dart heads on my car and now the angles of the spark plugs are a little different. However, only one is my real concern. I have mac equal length shorties and the number 3 plug is so close that the spark plug boot is literally touching the exhaust. I've remedied this temporarily with the expensive fabric heat shield over the boot but I just know that it's not gonna last. Do the unequal length headers provide more clearance?

Yes they do. You could try a dimple there and some 90 degree boots.

you could try some accel shorty plugs no 0576s, will put boot closer to the head and a little further from the tube
