i have a 91 gt 5.0 it runs great but it will not restart hot. it will start right up when it is cold and run fine till you shut it off. when you go to restart it when it is hot it will just crank but wont start up. if you try to restart it when it is cold it will fire up but not if it is hot. i have replace the tfi module both o2 senors mass air flow senor , tps clean the idle air control valve. it has me stumped. i have the timing set at 14 i dont think it to high. runs geart just wont restart hot. if you drive it and let it sit for 30 min it will start back up. it has a 306 e303 cam headers off road x pipe cold air intake 65 mm throttle body any thing will help thanks

My car used to have a similar problem but it gradually got worse and would stall or not start hot or cold, the problem ended up being the pick up in the distributor.

I would try and eliminator whether the problem is fuel or spark before buying anymore parts.

Pull codes. You might also try to prime the fuel system twice before you try to restart. Turn the key to the on position but don't start it. Do that twice. That will get plenty of fuel up to the rail. On the third time you turn the key, crank it.
