Default block plates for E7 heads?

quick question for you guys. E7 heads on a 5.0 motor. removing smog system. their's a pipe connecting to the back of the heads. ive seen it where the line were krimped to prevent leaking (which is straight afro engineering), but is there a block of plate or plug for this?

Why washers?

The holes have threads inside them that are probabaly caked with carbon... all I can say is have fun cleaning them out.

2 bolts, huh? i would've figured some kind of plate with bolts just by looking at the pipes connecting to it. well ill rip the remaining pipe off and try the bolts. its pretty descent out here. hopefully i can get the block out of the stang today. wish me luck

because the holes are slightly deeper than 3/4" before you hit the inside of part of the casting... the washer helps space them out slightly
