OK I got my 3.73 gears in the mail today started checking on how big a job this was and its to big for me so I started calling around for installation prices and from what im hearing I also need to replace the Outer Carrier
bearings both Pinion bearings a Crush sleave and a Pinion shaft seal did you guys replace these,would you recommend replacing these and if you got it installed how much they charge ya? thnx

 

anything you do gears you should buy the install kit. this is all the bearings/shims you need.

install was 150 for me. plus my gears.bearings, girdle and fluids

 

That doesnt sound that bad whod ya buy it from do you remember

 

gears are FRPP got them from ford
girdle is TF got it from summit
bearings are Rachet [sp] got it from summit
friction modifier got it from ford
fluid PEPBOYS

and only a few hours for the install
