without mufflers it will be raspy and honesty crap sounding.

removing smog without doing the full Kit and Kabootle isnt the best idea. you still have tubing going to the heads. if you remove smog you should remove all smog/egr crap not just one part of the puzzle

for performance you are actually hurting some performance not having mufflers

you dont need to reset teh computer, exhaust isnt that big of a deal for the comp to be reseted. just drive the car and it will be ok.

ive seen both BBK and MAC and i would have to say BBK is the better design and i cant see how MAC flows better with its tubing. only flaw ive foudn with BBK is the welds on teh inside that need to be ground down.

I havent had any problems with my MAC headers at all i just had problems with the copper gaskets they dont get a very tight seal for me so i got felpro gaskets instead. I have never had problems with fel pro so IMO i recommend them. You will gains about 20-30 more HP with just those 2 mods.

 

you ever think that ppl favor certain brands? and that cart was from 3 yrs ago and could of been alterd. look at the numbers the bbk and macs arent to far off with numbers. also why didnt they test both sets of bbk headers? but they tested all of mac headers. [favorism]

 

Sure they favor certain brands when they are writing the verbal reviews but when it comes down to dyno proven hp numbers they aren't going to change those numbers. How is no mufflers hurting my performance if no cats won't hurt it? I know about back pressure and what not but please explain?
