Ok so I installed today a lower and upper explorer intake on my mustang now here is the problem.

After the car is running for around five minutes it start to smoke and the smoke smells real bad and burns your eyes, What could that be?

Is also leaving a lot of carbon build up on the floor behind the exhaust.

any help is highly appreciated

Cars running WAAAAAAAYYYY too rich. Double check your electricals, aswell, try to pull codes. But thats not bad gas, bad gas doesnt really smoke that much, just smells terrible, and the car will sputter like crazy when starting (Bad experience on the highway, never use stale gas).

could timing be an issue because when I was removing the lower intake I removed the distributor, but forgot to mark where it was and I had set the timing at 0 instead of 10 as it should be from factory

didnt know you did that, sorry. that means its just not getting a complete burn.

Yeah sorry for not stating that in the first post, but I'll try that in a few to see what happens.

Note: do you happen to know where the ACT bung is in the car there is nothing in the lower intake and nothing in the upper either. Can I tap one in the upper if anything by the elbow.
