Default New Guy needs help

OK so heres the deal, I bought my 1990 5.0 GT from a kid for $1500. Runs great and But needs some work.

My issue I am not a fan of the GT Body kit, and I want the LX. Does anybody have any good sources to replace the bumpers and body molding at a reasonable price? I tried salvage yards, but all they have are older stangs.

Junkyards are your best bet for the cheap way, but these bumper covers tend to get really ****ty in junkyards..

Late model restoration or year one has them for new but they rape you on the prices.

Yeah I have noticed the pricing on the new bumper covers. though my wife has blessed the mustang as my midlife crisis, i think she would rather me have an 18 year old girlfriend when she see what the stang may cost LOL

Most of the new LX front covers don't have mustang embossed in them anymore...

My LX rear cover doesnt have 'mustang' in the back.

I can tell that it has been rear ended once.

When i bought it the bumper was very shinny.

:'(

I feel scammed. haha
