Default 93 70mm cobra mass air meter?

I heard that the ford 70mm mass air meter could be used with either 19lbs or 24lbs injectors. Is this true they say because depending if you have the GT or cobra computer it determines which injectors you use? Not the meter so it could be used with 19 instead of the 24.

the 93 cobra maf will not work correctly with the 89-93 fox GT/LX ECM's

If you want a 70mm maf, use one from a 94-95 mustang.

and unless you tune the computer, it will run 19# injectors

So a 70mm from a 94-95 will work in a 93 fox body with 19# injectors?

Yes. I use a 70mm housing from a 94 T-Bird 4.6L with the 89 sensor in it. The 94 sensor made it run too rich at an idle.

So the t-bird mass air meter doesn't have the flange and is more like shape of the fox body meters?

Has run just fine for 2 yrs. Why is it wrong when the electronics match and the a/f ratio is correct?

used a 1993 cobra Maf on my car with stock 19lb injectors and computer for over 6months.

dyno showed the A/F was half a point richer then before, but no other change.

just sayin'
