A couple of questions...please help
First of let me say I'm new to domestics but I like what I've been experiencing thus far. Last year I purchased a '92 foxbody 5.0L GT, and I recently had to change my tranny. I purchased a cobra upgrade, new factory clutch, b&m short shifter, and factory clutch cable to be installed by a mustang shop. Since the install its sometimes hard to get into some gears: I had to use two hands to get into second on my way home from work. The shop insisted on me getting an adjustable clutch cable to fix the problem. My question is will the new cable solve my problem, or is there a bigger issue at hand? Also, I was chatting with the shop owner and he told me 351 heads are a good cheap upgrade for my 302 block. Is this true? Thank you for viewing, and your help is greatly appreciated.

The car should has an adjustable quadrant from the factory. However, some people remove them for a better piece. Going to an adjustable cable is the cheap way to go.
I would recommend you keep your stock cable, put in a Steeda quick release quadrant, and a locking firewall adjuster.
