Shifting gears results in a grinding sound, its hard to get in gear, it tries/does pop out of a gear.

yeah, I havent even been able to drive it since the install. what does that mean if the clutch isnt dissengaging? which way would i adjust it, I have a firewall adjuster and i can adjust down at the fork. why would it go in first but none others?

when ur clutch doesnt disengage it will make it hard to go into gear because ur clutch is still griping the flywheel if you tighten the cable it will go away i try to adjust it at the fork tightning it up youl probably have to turn it up instead of down thus puttin more tension on the cable understand?

Not likely you will have problems with all the synchros at once.
Since your reverse is not synchronized. Use it as your test.

Engine running. Place the shifter in neutral. Press the pedal hard to the carpet. Wait about 5 seconds then go straight to reverse. If it grinds, the clutch disc was still spinning.
