Trying to install a msd distributer in my 94 5.0. It goes in but cannot get the ***** to fire up. Help?!?!?

 

Well, for starters-
Is this a self-contained MSD distributor? Is the ignition module working? Are the spark plugs wires attached and in the correct order? Is the ignition timing correct (which includes base timing, and rotor orientation to the correct terminal)? Do you have 12v to the coil and is it attached to the distributor?

 

put your stock distributor back in. put the MSD back in the box and sell it to some other poor sap who is dumb enough to do what you did.
