22 - Map Signal out of range
31 - EVP Signal out of range
81 - Boost Control solenoid
84 - EGR vacuum Regulator
85 - 2.3L T/C Auto

I dont know why im getting the 81 and 85 since its a A9L computer out of a 90lx.
Other than that im pretty sure the codes are good because I deleted the EGR, Smog pump TAB/TAD, and the 2 vacuum cylinders in the passenger fenderwell as well as all those vacuum lines.
And I converted the 88 to Mass air so the Map port is open.

So agreed that everything is good? I just need to get a tune to delete the need for EVP, MAP, and EGR in the EEC?

Oh and I tried pulling codes with the engine running but when the test started it just about killed the car which stopped the computer. Whats up with that?

 

your map sensor should still be plugged into the harness, just not connected to a vac line.

 

Yup, it still is. The vacuum port is open.

 

81 is for the smog system, and 85 is the canister purge solenoid.
You can't eliminate MAP/BAP strategy from the computer. It's a needed input.
If you're getting a tune, work on getting 81, 84, and 85 sorted out of the strategy, then find out what's up with your BAP sensor.

 

Thanks matt. Ill look into it. Gonna pull out the shop manual and look at how to test the system.
