Default Wheel alignment

Its been 3 months that i have gotten my wheels aligned. The passenger's side tire has even wear. On the Driver's side the outer side of the tire is worn so bad, its about to blow. I've taken it to the alignment shop again and he said everything is within spec. My car is not lowered and it doesn't have any suspension modifications. Is there something else that could be causing this?

Go to another shop. Those people are wrong. Better than saying they are bugger eating morons.

i believe so, my car doesnt have camber/caster adjuster plates so they can only align it so good, unfortunetly my right side is bent so it wears terribly on the right side of the tire. ive just ignored it until i can get maximum motorsports adjustment plates, well until i can afford it. =] hope this helps

Thanks guy. I took it a small shop because they are usually more better than the bigger ones IMO. But the guy even hooked up to his machine and showed me. He mention my tire pressure was low. But it still keeps getting worn after it being inflated to spec. I'll take it to another shop and see what they say.

ya if you have no mods on suspension, its because you have no camber/caster plates to adjust those variables. It wears because they cannont adjust it =]

Post your alignment numbers. I don't believe it's a lack of caster/camber plates.

These cars have about -0.5 camber and lowered Mustangs have -2 to -3.0 deg camber. That will wear the inside edge of a tire. To wear the outside edge one ONE SIDE ONLY.

There is major problems somewhere in the front end. It may look ok and align ok sitting on the machine but a worn suspension may allow it to move to a different spot while driving or braking.

It sounds to me like something has been bent and it's not showing up on the alignment machine. Has the car ever been in an accident maybe???

if something is bent, expecially where it is wearing the tire....it will and I repeat will show up on the alignment machine
