Default Rear control arms.

Are the stock upper and lower rear control arms from a 94 V6 Mustang the same as a 93 5L LX?

more or less. there might be a slight diffrence in the bushing material. but nothing performance note-worthy

Bushing material, not a problem. I'll be throwing fresh bushings in them anyways.
As long as they are dimensionally the same then I can grab a stock set from a 94 parts car, that's all they're good for anyways. LOL
I was pretty sure, since most of the aftermarket arms list the application range from 79-98. Hate to find out there is a difference after I install new rubber bushings, sandblast and paint them. Thanks.

I'm going back to stock rubber mounted arms because I feel that alot of these arms are hard on the frame for street driven cars.

There are the heim jointed arms that allow articulation but my South Side Machine arms have a solid bushing and do not. The in between comprimise would the any polyurethane control arm but I think they are just a comprimise between solid and rubber. Still rough on the frame when articulating.

I understand these are basically just sheet metal stamped arms but on a 13 second car, why do you all feel the importance of aftermarket arms?

The reinforcement kit is on order.

As for keeping the South Side. **** no. Did you read the part about NO ARTICULATION.

Reinforce the frame all you want. There is no articulation in a solid bushing rear control arm. There is not much on a polyurethane bushed arm either.
