Default Misfire Check engine

When i first start my car it runs fine. Then when it gets hot, at about 1500 rpm it seems like it has a miss and has hesitation. Then the check engine came on and if you give it gas it goes off but runs rough. Checked for vacumm leaks with carb spray, Checked all the plugs wires everything looks good. Please help me with something i have missed.

you can not verify the integrity of plugs and wires/ cap and rotor based soley on looks......secondary ignition parts integrity are verified though ignition scopes and viewing the pattern

Check engine light...did you get codes? Run the test koeo, koer, koem, cylinder balance test. These do not require special equipment. If you do these test might just get a answer all be yourself.

a CEL that turns off with acceleration is usually EGR related.

When i changed head gaskets awhile ago i took off the cross over pipe that went to the back of the heads, and pluged the holes. Could this have something to do with my problem. The car runs good untill it gets hot. It also seems like the problem is slowly getting worse as time goes on.

pull the codes as a first step. you can do it with a paperclip and a test light.
