Tranny Help

Angry Tranny Help

I dropped my tranny to fix a clutch problem and drained the tranny fluid feeled it back up and now when I take off I have no power. It will idle fine and shift into all gears fine but if I get into any gear it just revs it doesnt have the power or launch it had before any ideas. Im not a tranny person

im in the same boat i have no idea but i put a lil more gear oil and it seemed to help mine but mine will almost not even move so idk..... my cable brake to strart off and i got a new one put it in a and it wouldnt move so i did a cluch just got it back together and still the same ive tryed 3 diffrent cables and there all the same it goes into all gears fine but just wont go so idk and all the cluch stuff is new

that's because it uses atf not gear oil

is the cable adjusted properly???

I'm not a tranny person either but with a manual, you wont have power or launch problems as a result of low fluids...i should know cause my old 4 speed worked great right up until it got so hot that the internals welded together.

I would check that your clutch and cable are adjusted right, if they're not you might not be getting enough friction to transfer all of your power from the flywheel to the tranny...if thats the case though you should notice a strange burning smell if the clutch pedal is out and the engine is revving.

if it doesnt start to engage 1" to 1 1/2" off the floor....... it is slipping

i only put like half a qwart in to se what it did but none of my cable stuff is
adjustable its all stock i put a oem cable in to i also put new presher plate cluch disk and throw out bering so if eny one has eny idea let me know

Even with a completely factory clutch setup there should still be a mechanism for adjusting the clutch to ensure proper operation...not sure what that would be though cause I've never had to adjust mine sorry I can't be more help.
