I dropped my tranny to fix a clutch problem and drained the tranny fluid feeled it back up and now when I take off I have no power. It will idle fine and shift into all gears fine but if I get into any gear it just revs it doesnt have the power or launch it had before any ideas. Im not a tranny person

I'm not a tranny person either but with a manual, you wont have power or launch problems as a result of low fluids...i should know cause my old 4 speed worked great right up until it got so hot that the internals welded together.

I would check that your clutch and cable are adjusted right, if they're not you might not be getting enough friction to transfer all of your power from the flywheel to the tranny...if thats the case though you should notice a strange burning smell if the clutch pedal is out and the engine is revving.

Even with a completely factory clutch setup there should still be a mechanism for adjusting the clutch to ensure proper operation...not sure what that would be though cause I've never had to adjust mine sorry I can't be more help.
