I ran a v6 tranny out of a 96 and I had to use that bellhousing,but I also have a mini starter so it wasnt a problem.I drag raced and powershifted the hell out of that transmission for 3yrs.....I was impressed.

Could you use the starter out of the V6? If not what ministarter did you use?

BUT you had to use an SN bell bc of the input shaft length.

he used the 3.8l SN bell... thats the point
