***Help!!! Clutch Problems****
I have a 1990 GT 5.0 5-speed. Since I've bought the car 3 years ago I have had people tell me that the clutch was too hard. It even messed my leg up driving it too much one time. This is the problem, I push the clutch all the way in and put the car in reverse and it makes this big ol' clucnk noise like if it is grinding gears. Sometimes it does it n sometimes it don't. When I have been driving the car for awhile, it becomes very hard to change gears.
Do I need a new clutch? Is the tranny going out? Is there some kind of lubricant that I can add to the tranny to help it out?
Thank you......

1) i'd check the cable for being burned and/or out of adjustment.
if it's a stocker, pull up on the pedal and then push it in, about 2-3 times and drive it. if it is an adjustable aftermarket, make it so it starts to engage about 1 1/2" off the floor.
if it engages too soon it wont be fully disengaged, if it engages too late, it'll slip
2) t5 doesnt have a slave cylinder

1 of two things most likely, possible TOB binding on input retainer but more than likely it needs a new cable, I like to recommend the steeda quick release set up to people, makes the pedal feel like driving a honda..lol
