i was wanting to wrap the plastic trim in my car with vinyl to give it a different look. the problem is that i have tried three different 3m spray adhesives and none of them will hold the vinyl in areas where i have to stretch to wrap bends and curves. does anyone know any tricks and if i need to use something different then 120 grit to sand plastic.

Could maybe try the 3m double sided tape??? Its meant for outdoors so it strong enough for the job, but I'm not sure how professional it would look lol. Just food for thought though.

no wont work trying to go with a smooth vinyl finish on all the interior since i am going from ground up on this car. thanks though.

the only thing that I know of that will hold on vinyl are staples, it too heavy to be held on by glue
