Hey guys. Im running a 92 gt with 306 with aluminum heads, bigger cam, high rise alum intake, rods, pistons, rockers... the works. Im running at 6 psi of fuel pressure and im pretty sure my carb is out of whack. My car feels like its a 15 second car right now, ive drag raced quite a bit. And with my mods i should be running in the 13-12 second range. My question is... what could be wrong with my car? The engine has no knocks or anything in it. Could the fuel system being out of whack really throw my power off that much? Please guys help i need your input!

Need to know some more , What is happening with it.

 

Start by keeping it simple. What's the fuel pressure under a load? If it maintains a pretty steady 6psi, the fuel system up to the carb is fine.

 

What is your timing set at?
