hot cooling!!

Default hot cooling!!

i was driving today on the highway when i saw my temp. gauge very higher.it was almost on the red line.i pull the car and stop the engine.i lifted the hood and i saw a lot of my cooling stuff coming from the water tank.i don't know why because i ner over fill that tank.i waited a few seconds i started the engine again.i saw the temperature on the gauge starting to lower.now,my water tank is empty.i have to fill-up.what do you think it could be?? this my mod"s on my carulley,headers 1 5/8,magnaflow cat-back,gt-40 iron heads ported,thyphoon lower and upper intake,24lbs injectors,70mm throttle body,e303 cam,mas air flow,cold air intake,thanks!!!

clogged rad? bad thermostat? colapsed hose? head gasket? clogged egr?

is there a way to check if my problem coming from the head gasket??also i think that my cooling system never been flush.i don't know if it could help but sometimes when the car is not running,my temp gauge raise a few and when the car is running,the temp gauge lower.thank's!!!

check your oil to see if there is coolant in your oil. The cheapest upgrade and could be one of your problems is the thermo like what quik said. Buy a new 180 thermo and put that in and see if that helps you should flush your system if it hasnt been flushed before and run a bottle of water wetter i think its called to lower the temp some more

when i rebuild my engine i puted a 160 thermo instead of 190.

is there an air pocket. fords seem to get an air pocket trapped in the system


also you can have a bad headgasket without it being in the oil. mine was like that it was a slight tear and it just fed into the exhaust

you think that an air pocket can be the cause???i just would like to know if a bad head gasket is the problem,why when i'm on a right light the temp gauge is raising slowly and when i'm starting from the green light my temp gauge is starting to come down??? thank's!!!

it could be an air pocket, try to bleed the system again and if you got a head gasket you would see some white smoke out the rear
