What exhaust should i use

I have a 1990 convertible lx 5.0 auto and i am trying to decide what type of exhaust i should use and in the exhuast section of the forums all they talk about is 6 cylinders and i dont know if they carries over to my car. right know i just have shorty headers they i would be willing to replace. I think they are stock.

depends on what u want, if u want that mean, deep sounding mustang, go with an a set of headers, LT's or shorty, h pipe and good cat back, a louder more racey sound go with an X pipe

I am personal to l/t with either a matching H-pipe,or prochamber, you choice of mufflers, choice of tailpipes or dumps,and be sure everything is 2.5 inch
