I was wondering if you guys thought that I could get a good looking 5.0 fox body for under 3 grand. I was also wondering if anyone could give me some places I might be able to find one other than the obvious autotrader.com or something similar. Let me know. I need your help with this.

It depends on how hard you look. However, most the decent ones are for 3500 and up.

around where i live the nice ones in good condition sell for like 6500 on up to over 10,000. i would think that u might be able to find a nice one for around 5 or 6

I got mine for $1500, it runs pretty good and is in decent shape. It has a lot of miles on it though (235000). I only needs miner body work and hasn't cost much to get it ready for the street. I just replaces a headlight, mufflers, powersteering line and serpentine belt and I passed inspections. I'm sure you can find one for under 3000 in decent shape. Just look around and wait for the right one.

Yup! Mine was $500 plus a trade on a rusted 1988 F-250 worth about $1000. It's had the usual problems like needing a new tranny this summer. But overall it was an awesome buy. And one I am keeping for a long time.

when i said nice in good condition i also meant with low miles, its easy to find one with hi miles for cheap and if ur gonna replace the motor and trans anyway than thats the way to go

Man i must of gotten a deal on mine .. i sold it tho , it was a 91 GT Red with Gray interior , mint Con , body is peffect shape and only 120 K for 2500 , and my brother had an 88 LX he got for 1500 it had high miles but all original and it drove and looked perfect , so i guess it depends where you live and how hard you look
