you have the same symptons as this junk *** 1995 firebird sitting in my driveway... the intake gasket is blown on it...

i ohmed out the wires already, they're good, i need to find a cheap fuel pressure guage...no vacuum leak, it's not compression because when it isn't acting up (for those occasional moments) it runs perfect and sounds great.... intake gasket is far from being hard to replace, if it's a "junk ***" mustang, why don't you sell it to me nice n cheap.

Junk *** Firebird... not mustang :P and i would love to sell it to you for a nice price :P Imma ford guy, not a pontiac guy... its a friends car. He paid $3500 for it... ran fine.. 2 days later its got a blown intake gasket. He got a ****ty deal on it. Just incase your interested... its a 1995 Firebird Formula.... lol

oh my bad :-/ just sold my 94 firebird and 94 camaro....i'm not any certain brand guy, i collect cars, i have a 98 s-10, 95 stratus, 00 accent, 94 ranger, 94 mustang, 92 lexus sc400, and a 95 protege so i don't descriminate, they're all made in the same place when you get right down to it. sure wish i could get this stupid mustang running properly though, anyone have any suggest's left? clogged cats or fuel pressure is all i can think of, going to autozone later to see if they have a cheap fuel pressure guage.

Did you ever check the timing chain for play? Still sounds like it may have jumped time.

not yet, i keep having this feeling it's the fuel pump..i'll toss a wrench on it in a bit.

just picked up a crashed '95 gt convertible today...well i paid for it, picking it up tomorrow

this one is more to my liking, 5spd, black.... rather than the one i'm having troubles with (white, automatic)...anyone want to buy the one i've been complaining about in this whole thread? lol
