Building Engine help
Hey, I have a 91 GT mustang that I bought for a project. Im almost done with the Turbo SHO project and use a modded SC for a Daily driver.
I do all my own work and want to build a motor for the stang. I have rebuilt a few SHO motors and ripped the SC down past the heads.
I want to start a build, I am looking for suggestions. I want the car streetable " chugging gas dont count " just dont want the powerband so high i cant low ball it around town. Im looking for at 500 whp. Maybe a bit of nitrouse on top for racing only. I do alot of research on mustangs and fords but personal experiance will alwasy be better then say what MM&FF or PRO 5.0 have to say. So please post any suggestions. It will be boosted for sure and I would like it to be more of a highway runner. Top speed runs are awesome, If i change my mind later and want to drag it ill build another rear end for it and keep both, so no 4.30's for me. Also a good street legal drag slick ? what size can i fit in stock tunnels.
Thanks for any info provided. I was looking at maybe just building a stroker block then puttin a Procharger 17 pound kit on it. Then a direct port 200-600hp No2 kit.
