Still looking to find out where to locate the instant center for a handling car. I can find articles on oem (in front of car) drag cars (towards rear of car) but not one designed to handle

I understand how it all works, I am looking to find info on the proper location of the instant center, so I can angle my upper links appropriately. Too far back will act funny on the throttle out of a turn, while to far forward decreases forward bite, but makes for better high speed handling.

Where do track cars (not drag cars) tend to locate the instant center?

There is a balance between forward bite and high speed handling. While I can make the brackets adjustable to move the IC around a bit, I would like to get it close and adjust to my driving style from there.

Thanks again guys.

If what adder is saying doesn't suit you I will talk to a buddy of mine who sets up road course cars for a living.

Ok, the center of gravity is a good answer. I just have been unable to find any info on it with drag cars being the exception.

Thanks
