86 gt only get 100 miles on a full tank and fouling new plugs after 150 miles HELP
okay i have an 86 5.0 gt bone stock 192 k
been sitting a year maybe idles rough i go fill it up exactly 100 miles later im bone dry and then fifty miles later the plugs are fouled i dont know what to think any ideas?

you don't start throwing parts at it just yet, CONFIRM THE ISSUE, CHECK FUEL pressure first with a gauge, if a injector is hung open, leakdown on the gauge will confirm it, FURTHERMORE YOU CAN KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE BY TESTING FUEL PRESSURE you can see if it has excessive pressure or a bad fuel pressure regulator....a rupture diaphram could be the cause too, pull the line to the regulator and make sure it isn't wet with fuel, do these things first to narrow the prob to an area
