You may have vapor lock which is when you have too much humidity in your gas tank you can buy products to get rid of that

I had an issue like this on my BBC 72 Chevelle. It would crank up fine when cold, but after I drove it I had to wait for it to cool down a bit and then it would start. My problem was due to the headers touching my starter. I bought a mini torque starter from summit and it would start every time, no matter the temperature.

you had a "no crank" issue, he has a "no start" issue...

two separate problems

adder the guy hasn't cleared up whether it turns over or not, and I've had the heat soak problem before with my starter, with a stock exhaust

Mine cranked. It was really slow though. Not enough to start it.

well, sometimes I put too much faith in others... Im hoping he didnt bother checking fuel pressure and spark, just because the car was cranking slow....

if it is very consistant, drive it around for a while, go to a pep boys and have them do a $10 electrical test, it could be something as easy as a starter.

i had, no-slow crank.

I have my battery relocated to the trunk, cable wasnt thick enough so when it got hot, it caused to much resistance, and wouldnt crank until cold...

replaced the cable to a 1gage battery cable, and that fixed it.
