What antifreeze to use?
I need to change my antifreeze at some point soon. What is the proper kind? Can i use the regular prestone premix green stuff? Also does anyone have any tips on how to get all the coolant out of the system? I am not planning on flushing as the coolant is not very old.

The green stuff is fine our motors aren't picky,
if you want a quick flush run the car to operating temp without the cap on, when the thermostats opens, then pop the top hose off and run the car while pouring water into the radiator. Some people will disagree with this but I've yet to suffer any ill effects because of it.
Of course if you just want it done and don't mind spending some money just head up to the valvoline, stand there and watch them though, some of them are idiots.

Yeah I won't even take the car to the shop to change the tires so I would like to do it myself if possible since I don't trust any of the ones around here. You can just use water out of the hose for flushing can't you? or does it have to be distilled?
