5.0 is a lot of car for us kids...of course im 15...but if you just started driving it still may be too much. 5.0 foxesare great cars, but insurance will rape you. if i were you id try and save up a couple more thousand cause generally 5k will get you a pretty clean low mileage 5.0. but i do suggest you check autotrader.com and ebaymotors.com often. i have found many good deals on there, but theyre usually far away from me

Any 87-93 mustang would be a great first car. Especially since you are planning to get into modifications and go-fast parts. These cars are one of the easiest cars to work on. Any aftermarket part you can dream of is made for these cars. But in the end you have to make your own choice on what to spend your hard earned money on. But do all of us a HUGE favor........ DO NOT GET AN IMPORT!!! We have to band together and boycott these rice burners. Please man, don't let these ricersdrag you down with them. Look deep into your soul and make the right choice.

for that price you can get a good deal on a stang as long as you know what to look for. i got mine at a dodge dealership for 1G. and it was clean. if you can get a stang that low in price use the rest in mods.but chose them wisely cause they will add up quickly

But dude id look around and u havta try and be patient even though there are many 5.0's left most are run to hell and have been tortured to death luckily mine wasent.
