Question 95 GTS Code help and ideas....Please

ok car set while I was deployed.
came home and getting bad bog and low miss/rough idle.
Code 157
replaced MAF.
Code 189 pops up.
swapped the two O2 sensors and now my autometer air/fuel meter isnt working.
So I am guessing that the (left) drivers side o2 was no bueno.
was too late on sunday to get to parts store.
I am going to replace both o2 tomorrow, but both were new Bosch only about 2 years old, and only 1 years worth of use.
I also replaced plugs, were Double Platinum Autolites, went with Platinum autolites AP26
I sprayed the hell out of the engine bay with starter fluid no Vac leaks to be found.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!
I have reset the DTC codes everytime I made a change, and done the KOEO test a friggin million times, why wasnt the 02 codes showing before I replaced the MAF?
did the MAF trash the 02 sensors?
Any ideas?
Thanks
Baffled here.
When I left AUG1 last year no problems,
wife started and let it idle once a week while I was gone.
Could that have crashed the sensors?
Thanks again oh great gurus of all things Stang!

Your car takes Autolite 25... not platinum

Cool

thanks adder, however I go one heat range hotter and I like the Platinum.
Until it can be proven this is the problem, I will leave the plugs as is.

Update
new O2 sensors, no check engine but still not running right. anyone know the proper way to do the KOER test that makes the PCM drop cylinders and test combustion?

I have seen it on here before but am having no luck finding now.

platinums will not work properly with your ignition system. You should change them.

OK Adder, will do.
Will still need pointers.
I know its not gonna fix it.
other than the starter fluid trick, any other ideas on finding VAC leaks?

vac lines on the bottom side of the upper intake manifold, PCV valve hoses, and emissions crap on the passenger side. Check the hoses for deterioration. If they look dry and flaky, replace them.

Adder, what gap do you recommend. I have been running .52 on a hotter plug/platinum. I am running MSD Dist, blaster TFI coil and MSD 6-AL box. with 8.5mm wires. stay with .52 or bump it up to .54 my car has 80,000 + miles.
Thanks
