I have a 1989 muustang.My blinkers have stopped working.I have narrowed it down to what I think is the blinker flasher switch but,I can't find it anywhere.I've looked at the fuse box & behind the stereo.Can someone please help me as to where it is & what it looks like.Is it the normal metal cannister type?

 

Open glove box. Look toward the left side of box closed area.

 

pick yourself up a Chilton's manual while u r at it. It shows u were stuff like this is.
