how long do you have to crank the engine over for a compression test.

just a few seconds is all you need. do you know what numbers are good? all engines are different. some are good at 150 and others are good at 125

 

^^^^^Just turn it over until the guage stops building pressure.

 

How ever many time you crank it make sure you do it that many for each cylinder.
I mean crank it over the same amount of times for each cylinder.You are also supposed to hold the throttle wide open when doing it.

It is also supposed to be a warm engine.
