Default long tube headers/ fit issues

Hello every one

So i have a 90 gt, was an auto, converted to stick. I spent a few hours installing long tube headers last night on it. First problem i have/had was steering stem at rubber mount was rubbing and causing car not to be able to turn, i tweaked it and got it to not bind anymore, but still rubbing?? Any ideas?

Second and probally the worse issue is more on the passager side, but very close on driver side also is the headers are laying on the frame? can i buy higher motor mounts to fix? any ideas?

i know that cheap headers would be said, but i dont think they are.

so I was looking at solid motor mounts, says it raises the motor 1/2"?! think that would clear? will i have issues with hood..ect?

solid mounts are very stiff you could feel alot of vibrations and ect. which would not be that great for a daily driver

As for the steering shaft....a lot of people upgrade to a maximum motorsports or flaming river for more clearance...

flaming river skinny shaft($$$$$$)
new motor mounts will raise it up... the old ones are just wore out. get em for a convertible and they are stronger. but best is energy suspension mounts

This only matters to you foxbody guys. the SN-95 mounts only come in one configuration.
