Default 85 exhaust what kind to use?

Need help here, I want to change this stock exhaust. I want to get rid of cats, and have a nice, not repulsive, rumble. I will also get rid of stock tail and muffler system. What should I get, and what about the 02 sensors? Is there a real good user friendly system I can do myself? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is what I put on My 85. not saying it's the best but I love the sound. MAC unequal length Headers MAC offroad H pipe and Flowmaster American Thunder Don't forget you will need to change the transmission crossmember so you can run real duel exhaust. You should'nt have O2 sensers on your car. Once you put the new crossmember in you can get exhaust for 86 to 93 on your car. It's also easier if you stick with the same company for headers and H or X pipes they make them bolt right up to each other

Thanks a bunch. Any idea as to where I can get that crossmember? I think I will skip the headers for now. What do you think?

Bassani equal length shorty headers, bassani off-road X-pipe, and Magnaflow cat-back. Great sound with the E-Cam. A couple companies make the double hump cross member for cheap, but I went with the Ford piece and there was no fitment issues. If your carb'd you won't have an 02 sensor.

Thanks everybody for all your input. I ended up going with the BBK shorty headers, the BBK h pipe with no cats, and Flowmaster Force 2's. If anybody has a comment on that please let me know. Kind of going at this blind. The guy from summit said that is a pretty popular set up. Was he B Sing?
