Default 1986 HELP!!!

OK so I have just recently bought an 86 mustang 5.0 and put a set of bbk longtubes with xpipe, but the problem is I can't find the extenders that fit my style oxygen sensors. It is not the 4 wire, it is 3 wire sensors and it has the squared off style plug not the 3 prong one and I can't find the one I need. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, or a way to make it work without the extenders. Thanks

I've always heard that never works cause it messes with the resistance

Its not exactly that, solder helps resist any voltage resistance, you just need to make sure its sealed. A solid wire connection and wire without defects will not add resistance. There is a chance, yeah sure, the world isn't perfect, but if you are good at splicing wire you'll be ok. Just do not use butt connectors for anything computer related, they pinch the wire. They will work ok for something more basic like a lighting system though

The only tricks to soldering is making sure you have the wires wrapped properly, getting it started and not using too much. You can use too little and add more, but if you use too much it is impossible to bend. You do what's called tendering the tip of the iron, where you melt a small amount of solder on, then put it under the wire and usually that helps start the solder into the wire
