AT a lose, need some help.
To begin with, my pony blew the gasket on the water pump. After replacing it and reconnecting the battery it wouldn't start. I put a trickle charger on it, after an hour or so the needle kept jumping from charged to half charge. I exchanged the battery for a new one, installed it, and it still wont start. The starter is only a year old and has never hesitated. What throws me off is my brake lights wont go on when hitting the pedal, but blink when using the alarm. Power to everything else is fine. I'm thinking maybe the alarm got messed up when the water sprayed and possibly got locked in a kill switch mode. Any ever have a similar problem or have any ideas as where to begin? Appreciate any advice.

Well have you checked to see if you get voltage across the solenoid when you turn the key? Do you have the wire hooked up from the ignition switch?

Getting power from the solenoid, starter reacts when crossing the bolts with screwdriver. Only get the initial click when turning the key though. Been searching for bad grounds, but no luck so far.
Sorry about the double post, computer froze the came back. Didn't realize the first one went through.
