yeah they make the chassis stiffer and keep it from twisting, which helps a lot with handling.

i agree so you dont have the problems you just had i would go with a bigger cable like 2 gauge. You can get them at autozone or any auto parts store.

The wires are fine, the owner before me had extended the ground and it melted right there at the connector, I'm sure it's fine. So now another question arises, should I just get the MSD TFI Coil, or the MSD Blaster 3 Coil?

the blaster is a direct bolt on and the plug matches too for a cleaner look

The blaster 3 or the TFI? The TFI is a direct bolt-on.
