Default 5.0 in snow

How do 5.0's do in snow? lots of snow in CO
Do snow tires help?
Im looking at buying 17 by 9 tires do they help? Will the salt ruin the rims

if yours is a 5-speed you are definetly gonna have problems in the snow. I been there and done that.

If you put 17x9's on for the snow you'll f**k yourself.

You want to put the skinniest tire on you can for winter, and YES, snow tires help.

The snow won't really bother your wheels, it's the sand, gravel, salt, de-icer, and ice that'll thrash them.

They are absolutely s**t in the snow, unless you get some blizzack ws50's(these tires are fukin amazing).

Heres what id do.... Buy a 100$ junk as honda trash it throu winter and put up your stang till spring...... saves you form rust hazards and trashingyor car<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

the 5.0 mustang is probably the worst car that I could think of to drive in the snow. when ever it snows around here I have to drive under 25 or it will spin out.
