I have a mach 460 system without the cd player. I dont know what would be the best route to go to get a new cd player in it. Please fill me in.

Default RE: Mach 460 System.

Im not sure if yours is the same configuration as mine but I have the 460 with the in dash cd player. I know that I have basically tear out the entire system and start over, granted you dont have to take out all the wiring and stuff but when I put the car down for the winter, im going to completly gut it tear out every last piece of stereo equipment and replace it. I know for a fact though that I can't even add an aftermarket cdplayer, without a "re-wire" that, well where I work anyways, cost about $70. I myself can get by just fine with the 460 though for the time being, I dont think it sounds bad by anymeans. although the cd player skips pretty often and takes a while to start playing a cd. Who needs music when you have a 5.0L to listen too???
