Default Sunroof Latch Leak

Hi: I have a 93 GT and the sunroof leaks from the two latch screws. Water drips from them almost continuously when there is a strong rain or I am washing the car. However there are no leaks around the edges of the sunroof, only water leaks from the two latch screws. I was wondering what parts I should check/replace. Any help would be greatly apprecaited!

I had an 88 with a sunroof that leaked around the latch screws. I ended up having to take the latch apart and using clear silicone to seal the holes the screws go through, I also used the silicone to seal the top plate of the latch to the glass on the outside.

Edit, I think it was sealant for fish tanks I used.

Do you know how the latch comes apart? I have two large phillips screws apparently mounting the latch to the Glass but they wont budge. I also noticed a small allen wrench screw perpendicular to each larger phillips screw. They won't budge either. Just want to be sure how it comes apart before I start cranking on it as hard as I can.

if there are allen heads going intl the phillips then they are the set screws so the main ones don't back out. Get some penetrating fluid, ZEP being the best, and let them soak and try again. If you can't get them out the just take your time and use the clear silicone and just go around the outside of the top plate and just make a smooth line so it isn't noticeable.
